How a Simple Question Led to Puhtis®
After installing a heat pump, our installers were asked the same question almost every time:
"How should I maintain it?"
And soon after:
"How do I clean the coil?"
Our installer network has installed more than 5,000 heat pumps, and the same questions kept coming up year after year.
Most people know how to clean the filters, but over time dust, pollen and other airborne particles can accumulate inside the unit where they are not always visible. This buildup can restrict airflow, increase energy consumption and affect overall performance.
That's why I started developing the Puhtis® product range—to make routine heat pump maintenance and cleaning easier for homeowners.
Later came the idea for PUHTIS® PEILI — a Finnish innovation designed to help keep maintenance in mind as part of everyday life.
Puhtis® products are designed and manufactured in Finland specifically for cleaning heat pumps and metal surfaces.
